Arabic Medical Poetry of:
Prof. Rabie E. Abdel-Halim
Arabic Poetry related to illness, medicaments, doctors,
ethics and doctor/patient relationship were frequently utilized by Prof. Rabie
El-Said Abdel-Halim during his clinical
and history of medicine teaching rounds and lectures. This was meant to
generate interest in humanities among medical students. It also reflects his personal interest in Arabic Poetry being
himself a poet and well-quoted
author of
several published poems in addition to an anthology titled
“Fakkuttalasim”
(Clues to the Riddles) published in 1997. In this page visitors are
